Liz Lawler was born and raised in Los Angeles, the youngest of four children. She attended Marlborough School, and went on to graduate from UC Berkeley in 1987, with a B.A. in Political Science. While at Berkeley, she met her husband, Greg, and they married in 1988. She then worked in advertising for several years before having children.
While raising her three children in Pacific Palisades, CA, Liz was very active in fundraising for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, serving as President of her auxiliary group through the hospital. She was always very active in her children’s schools, and served as her youngest son’s den mother for his Cub Scout troop. During this time, she also obtained her CA Real Estate license. In 2013, Liz and her family relocated to Monte Sereno for her husband’s work, and soon became involved with the community, serving on the newly formed Better Streets Commission.
Liz is an avid skier and outdoor enthusiast. She loves to run, hike, SUP and play tennis. She is honored to have been elected to serve on the Monte Sereno City Council and looks forward to working with her fellow council members for the benefit of Monte Sereno and its residents.
